Started in 2012, EcoVerse is the culmination of 3 years of love and devotion to the renown pixel art style of SNES and hand-held video games. When this project started I had no intention of teaching myself Pixel Art or creating an entire video game. In fact, the thought of creating seamless tiles and doing artwork pixel-by-pixel seemed overwhelming. However; I soon found Pixel Art to be my outlet to creating the worlds I saw inside of my head and a great way to bring them to life to let others share in their experience. EcoVerse was built with Furcadia tools and utilizes 32x32 isometric tilesets that were, of course, built pixel-by-pixel by hand. Furcadia tools only allow for their preset, 236 colors which EcoVerse utilizes. Pixel art by AzKai (aka: Kai ByRoade).
